The Kurtheater Baden is a guest theatre with a long tradition in a new dress. Opened in 1952, the theatre in Baden's Kurpark has recently been beautifully renovated and expanded. The curated programme (Artistic Director: Uwe Heinrichs) regularly features international stages such as the Thalia Theater Hamburg, Schauspiel Hannover, Residenztheater Munich, international dance companies and musical theatre, but also local and regional (co-)productions. In addition to the curated programme, Swiss greats such as Divertimento, Emil or Mummenschanz provide good entertainment at the Kurtheater.
Access to the Kurtheater Baden is barrier-free through the main entrance on Parkstrasse. The theatre hall and the New Foyer can be reached barrier-free via the lift in the entrance foyer. The rehearsal room on the 5th floor is also accessible. Wheelchair-accessible toilets are available in the front building and in the back building. Inductive hearing with your own hearing aid (mode "T") is available in the hall in the stalls, not in the balcony. Hearing aids can be borrowed free of charge from the cloakroom for a deposit.
