Drama Course Interim Presentation 26/27
by Ianique Sägesser, Sophie Bischoff, Meret Böhni and Anna Frey
Four new plays are currently being written as part of the DRAMENPROZESSOR. By the end of November, the four writers from the 2026/27 cohort will have reached the halfway point of their programme, and this is also the right time to present the first drafts of their work to an audience.
In four short staged readings, the playwrights Ianique Sägesser, Sophie Bischof, Meret Böhni and Anna Frey their plays on stage for the first time with actors and a director. The scenes presented still have a workshop feel to them, yet they already give a glimpse of the plots, characters, sound and style.
The network of co-producers includes the Theater St. Gallen, Theater Neumarkt, Theater Orchester Biel Solothurn TOBS, and Theater Marie.
Our partners include Luminanza, the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK) with its BA Theatre / Directing programme, and the Swiss Literature Institute in Biel.
