‘Solidarity’ in society, religious and cultural spheres
Panel discussion as part of the KIN Festival
How can we connect with one another in a fragmented world – despite our differences, uncertainties and social tensions? The ‘Connectedness’ panel brings together voices from the worlds of literature, journalism and activism, all of whom engage in different ways with questions of belonging, the public sphere and living together.
Together, the author Ivna Žic, Geneva Moser (co-editor-in-chief of the journal ‘Neue Wege’) and Hannan Salamat on spaces for encounter, social divisions and the possibility of rethinking connectedness.
Drawing on personal, political and cultural perspectives, a conversation emerges about what becomes visible when different experiences coexist – and what is lost when only the loudest voice is heard. “Connection” invites us to understand common ground not as a prerequisite, but as a process.
Moderated by Marah Rikli (Director of the KIN Festival), this evening is conceived as an open space for reflection, bridging personal experience and social discussion.
This event is part of the KIN Festival.
