A stroll through the eventful history of the Zurich Municipal Nursery.
The Zurich City Nursery is an institution steeped in tradition – it has been in existence for over 125 years.
On a tour of the grounds and through the history of the City Nursery, you will learn how it has developed and changed over time. We’ll show you hidden architectural and landscaping gems and tell stories of a move to the countryside, of (too) tall palm trees, a referendum and two lions. A look at the present and the future is also a must.
The tour takes place outdoors and in all weathers.
