Children's tour
The demonstrators will introduce the telescope, which is over 100 years old, and demonstrate how it works. They will explain the universe using easy-to-understand explanations and computer simulations. Weather permitting, celestial objects can be observed through the telescope. The tours take place in all weathers and are suitable for children of school age accompanied by a maximum of two adults. The visit is not suitable for toddlers and babies.
Thanks to the kind support of Bank Sparhafen Zürich AG, tickets are available for a contribution towards costs of CHF 5 per person (children and adults).
The observatory entrance opens 30 minutes before the tour begins; we recommend arriving 20 minutes early. Once the tour has started, no further admission is permitted and the ticket becomes invalid. Tickets are non-refundable and cannot be rebooked by the Urania Observatory. A maximum of 4 tickets may be purchased per booking.
