The Grammar of DNA

When machines read our genes

The human genome follows highly complex patterns. Modern AI models decipher this molecular ‘grammar’ and open up new possibilities in biomedicine. The talk demonstrates how AI improves the precision of genome editing (CRISPR), predicts protein misfolding in diseases such as Alzheimer’s, and analyses epigenetic regulatory mechanisms. Using these examples, the lecture clearly explains the paradigm shift from DNA sequencing to the algorithmic interpretation of genetic data.
