Expressive compositions and dynamic improvisations
From 2026, the band will be touring with a new, international line-up: in Louise Knobil, a bassist from French-speaking Switzerland, and Hendrik Eichler, a drummer from Cologne, Merck has found two musicians who are as distinctive as they are innovative, with whom she brings her own compositions to life. Mareille Merck draws on influences from fingerstyle techniques, allowing her rock roots to shine through, and skilfully weaves these guitar nuances with clear jazz structures and memorable motifs.
