Vera Kappeler and Anna Frey first met in a so-called ‘men’s pub’, where they sat together at the bar until the small hours. That was many years ago. Now they are performing together again. As a duo, each giving their undivided attention to the other’s performance. Vera Kappeler has long had an affinity for texts and their musicality, whilst Anna Frey has, over recent years, increasingly devoted herself to the musical, improvisational reading of her texts. It will be fascinating to witness the interplay between these two musicians and the intertwining of sound and language.
