Béla Rothenbühler
in conversation with Manfred Papst
The performances of the Lucerne-based dramaturg, author and musician Béla Rothenbühler are a real experience: his two dialect novels published by ‘Der gesunde Menschenversand’ – *Provenzhauptschtadt* (2021) and *Polifon Pervers* (2024), published by ‘Der gesunde Menschenversand’, present him as a humorous, eloquent storyteller who pokes fun at the cultural scene as a self-deprecating insider. ‘Polifon Pervers’ earned Rothenbühler an invitation to the Solothurn Literature Festival, and he was shortlisted for the Swiss Book Prize.
m lamarotte, the author will read from both older and brand-new texts; the discussion with him will be led by cultural journalist Manfred Papst.
