The rebel Valeska Gert and her Gesamtkunstwerk

The Eternal Valeska Gert is a contemporary performance that explores Valeska Gert’s radical physical and expressive art and transposes it into a contemporary performative context. The work is not intended as a biographical retelling, but as a physical and atmospheric exploration of an artistic principle: the resistant and unclassifiable body.

In addition to the dance performance by Roni Milatin, directed and with set design by Tiko El Ouata, an artist talk will take place on the eve (2 July 2026) at Omanut-Beijz, Seefeldstrasse 177, and the ‘Valeska and her kitchen staff’ bar will be open from 6 pm to 11 pm.
