Kick it Girls
Football documentary film project (ca.15
From Mädchen für alle / Filmkids
In this film project, football-loving girls are in front of and behind the camera. As a film team and protagonists, they embark on an exciting journey of discovery: They meet other female footballers, hear their personal and sporting stories, learn about dreams and discuss wishes for women's football.
But their gaze goes beyond the sports field and also includes potential viewers: In Zurich city centre, they talk to passers-by about their perception of women's football.
The film gives young female footballers a voice and proves it: Football is much more than a sport for them - it is passion, grants self-determination and cohesion.
Redefining the Game, Michelle Bobst, documentary film ( 15`) ZHdK 2024
Women's football has experienced a strong upswing in recent years and has undergone impressive development. The journey is far from over and there is still room for improvement in many areas. The documentary film "Redefining the Game" sheds light on the development of women's football in Switzerland and allows three women to talk about their love of football. How the three protagonists have made their way in the shadow of their male colleagues, the prejudices they have to contend with and the challenges they have overcome along the way.
