Vocal improvisation – how does it work?
Free warm-up and taster session for the MOMENT MUSIC course.
Discover, in a playful way, how rhythmic sounds can be created using specific syllables. Experiment with how your breath carries the nuances of your voice and discover how body, movement and voice interact.
We particularly welcome your curiosity about how voices can relate to one another and how sound spaces are created in which spontaneous music can emerge from the moment.
Once a month, we spend an hour delving into these basics before the ‘MOMENT MUSIC’ improv workshop. It’s a chance to get a taste of the session and warm up a wide variety of timbres. If you enjoy it, you can sign up on the spot for the following workshop.
Further information on the taster session and registration is available directly at GALOTTI Music Workshop
The session is open to both taster participants and those taking part in the subsequent workshops.
