What would a life optimised by artificial intelligence look like – a truly improved one?
In their new play UtopiA.I.sland, Robinson Varieté creates a world in which people allow their existence to be completely controlled by A.I. A life in perfect harmony: diseases are overcome, conflicts are resolved, no one has to make an effort or decisions anymore. The A.I. guarantees happiness, order and efficiency, a life without risk, entirely according to plan. But what happens to creativity, spontaneity and emotions? Are they flaws in the system or the key to breaking free from it? Robinson Varieté combines artistry, dance, theatre and music to create a poetic, humorous and at the same time critical view of the dream of a perfect society. Fifteen young artists create a vision of the future that is both fascinating and unsettling: an island of perfection that is gradually cracking. A piece of contemporary circus that puts freedom and progress to the test and perhaps allows us to rediscover a piece of humanity.

Varieté Robinson
Robinson Variety consists of 15 teenagers and young adults aged between 15 and 20. The variety show combines different circus disciplines and focuses on modern, contemporary and family-friendly productions.
For over ten years, it has been impressing audiences across Switzerland with sophisticated programmes for a wide audience.

Das Zirkusquartier ist ausserhalb der Schulferien täglich ab 15 Uhr für die Kurse geöffnet. An Vorstellungstagen öffnet die Tür 60 Minuten vor Beginn und die Bar ist geöffnet.
