Affair of the heart

The Chinese choreographer Xie Xin is visiting Switzerland for the first time with her piece From IN. In the piece, Xin searches for the traces of human independence. At the centre of her contemplation is the heart, both in the biological and figurative sense. A Swiss premiere you definitely shouldn't miss!

Good Luck

What is happiness? In Joshua Monten's piece The Pursuit of Happiness, the dancers go on the hunt for great happiness. Dancing and movement are their tools to create, process and transmit feelings. And this is where you come in; because the performers are convinced that happiness is a communal concern and interact with the audience. Are you also in search of happiness? Then the dance evening at the Theater am Gleis is just the thing!

Baroque meets modern

Baroque music and modern dance. How is that supposed to fit together? This is what the Italian Aterballetto shows in their new programme. They show the works of the Canadian choreographer Danièle Desnoyers and the Cuban choreographer Norge Cedeño Raffo. The choreographers combine religious music with modern dance. An exciting experiment that you should not miss.
