The Theater am Gleis in Winterthur is perhaps the smallest four-discipline theatre in Switzerland and has been offering exciting, current and lively cultural productions beyond the mainstream in the areas of theatre, dance, music and children's/youth theatre for over 40 years.
In all disciplines, various house groups develop their productions directly in the house and independent groups fill the repertoire with numerous guest performances. Around 120 performances are staged each season. On free performance days, the premises can be rented.
The Theater am Gleis is organised as an association; the programming and performance supervision is ensured by a large number of volunteer theatre, dance and music enthusiasts.
Please contact the theatre office directly on 052 212 79 55 or info@theater-am-gleis.ch and let us know if we can reserve a wheelchair space for you, if you need a seat in the front row or if you have any questions about accessibility.
Of course, you are also welcome without advance notice and we will find a suitable seat for you at the box office.
Assistance persons receive free admission. We have space for assistance dogs and guide dogs.
